Hi all,

I'm still doing the baby photo contest, it has just been postponed.  I was thinking it would be a great new years project.

So go ahead and send your photos.  Deadline for submissions December 15th 2007.  And they will be published New Years 2007/2008.

For those who don't know, this is what it's all about.

Baby Photo Contest: Let's Play the Match-Up Game.

Another fun contest for members of the World Wide Web Circle of
Friends!  Send in photos of yourself as a baby or young child, as well
as one of you as an adult.

The pictures will be published, and members will then proceed to
attempt to match-up child & adult photos.

Whoever gets the most correct will be declared the winner.

This is going to be a lot of fun.  Hope everyone enters and
good luck to all!

Please rummage around those old boxes, drawers, attic, and send me
photos at pmacmicken@gmail.com.

Just so you know, I have six entries already!!

Just a reminder, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I'm still looking for your personal stories to include on the "My Story" section found on the Breast Cancer Awareness Month site. The link is in the menu above.

Send stories to me  at pmacmicken@gmail.com.

FROM PAT'S JOURNAL:

As many of you know my husband Darryl and I separated last spring, after which I moved to St. Catharines to be near my kids & grandkids.

Then when it was time to come to BC for my visit with Sharon, my kids suggested I just stay here.  If I was going to start over, this was as good a place as any.

You also know how happy I have been here, and I thought it was the happiest I'd ever been.

Boy, did I get a great surprise the other day!  I got a phone call from my husband back east!

He said he realized what a big mistake he had made, and that I was the only person he loved and wanted in his life.

Needless to say, I was a little hesitant to accept this at face value.  After all he had hurt me deeply.

He was surprised that I was even out here, I never told him, saw no need to.  he asked when I was returning, and I told him I wasn't.

But, I also told him he was welcome to come out here to visit me. So we kinda left it at that.

On Monday I spoke with him again, and he reminded me of something he had said many years ago, before we were even married.  He said he would go to the ends of the arth for me!

In that vein he said if getting me back in his life meant coming here to BC, then that's what he would do.  So his flight is booked for him to fly out here On November 21st.

I know many of your are probably thinking I shouldn't be so quick to forgive him. But, I do still love him, and have to at least explore the possibility that he is sincere.

So I'm hoping you will all keep me in your thoughts and prayers, that this all works out for the best, and I can once again have the love of life, in my life.

Now's the time when children's noses
All become as red as roses
And the colour of their faces
Makes me think of orchard places
Where the juicy apples grow,
And tomatoes in a row.
